This module can be installed, after the JTAG Calendar component is installed first.

The upcoming events widget is an elegant slider that streams events from the main calendar. You can select what details you’d like to be displayed, such as date, calendar, description , etc. Events can be displayed from one or multiple calendars, and also on multiple pages for specific calendars.

To configure it, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Joomla admin and click on the menu option Extensions. In the menu bar, rollover your mouse to the Module Manager option
2. Choose Upcoming Events Widget from the modules list
3. From the ‘Details’ menu, set how and where you like the module to appear
4. From the ‘Menu Assignment’ choose on which pages on the front end you’d like the module to appear
5. From the ‘Basic Options’ menu, set what you like to be shown in the module

Go to Joomla Admin - Module Manager- select "JTAG Calendar Upcoming Events Widget" and edit options.

1. To set the length of the description in the "Upcoming Events", set the appropriate value in  the "Description limit" attribute. If set to 0, then the entire description is displayed.
